Galactic Nebula Sharpless 2-1
Surrounding the bright star Pi Scorpii is a very faint nebula, designated Sh2-1 or LBN 1093, consisting of a reflection(blue) and emission(red) component, which is only visible in deep exposures. It is in a distance of about 500 LY, about its nature very little is known.
