“A.N.D.” Painting by Sam Spratt
(Excerpt from my writings): We designed the A.N.D. from the inside out – function, form, followed by flaws. The guts of the future, the skeleton – our most refined art, but the surface had. to. be. real. Human beauty is filled with bumps, scars, illogical patterns of hair and pores, eyes wet and bloodshot, lips chapped when dry – you cannot manufacture their perfect imperfections you can’t idealize what’s already ideal. So we didn’t even try.
