The Girl with All the Gifts is a New Twist on Zombie Horror Fiction
The trailer for The Girl with All the Gifts has arrived. Set in a dystopian future, most of humanity has been infected by a fungus that causes its victims to quickly lose their mental powers and feed on the flesh of healthy humans. These flesh-eating creatures are called “hungries”.
Melanie, who is played by newcomer Sennia Nanua, is also infected, however she is remarkably different. Melanie is a young incredibly intelligent girl who goes to a special school on a military base, has friends, adores her teacher, loves books but also devours human flesh if she is not muzzled occasionally, and chained to her desk.
